Challenge: Create an informational poster that captures students’ attention and encourages participation

Solution: This design inspired by early 20th century circus posters uses eye-catching colors and stands out stylistically from other posters on campus.

The process

The original poster was more formal, and I was told to spice it up.

I was given permission to play with the design and experimented with bright, juicy colors.

The gallery director suggested an overlay to make it look old, but it didn’t work.
